It's finally back and our domestic campaign begins with a short trip on the road to Senghenydd RFC in Swalec Division 1 East, Kick Off 2.30pm.

There has been some signficant change at the club over the course of the Summer break but the target from everyone involved is to continue that progress and build on what was our highest ever league position during the 15/16 season. That commitment and desire from the boys has been evident during pre-season but a stern test awaits on Saturday afternoon. 

Senghenydd have won both of their pre-season encounters against Penarth and Llantwit Fardre and will want to continue that run on their own turf this weekend. Of course, it is not only our league season opener that will take place at the Welfare Ground but also our First round Swalec plate tie in early October. 

We look forward to the game Saturday and welcome all of the travelling support. First XV score updates will be live on our Twitter feed. 

Ynysybwl RFC welcomes all representatives of Ystrad Rhondda 2nds to the Recreation Ground and our Calves are also the road at Treharris Yth. Both of these games also kicking off at 2.30pm.
